How to Install, Led Panel Light User Manual

This post is about how to install OKT led panel lights,the recessed installation and surface mounted installation.

Before installing this fixture, make sure to turn off the power supply

Recessed installation for suspended grid ceiling

Step 1: Bend hang buckle by 90° making it vertical to the rear cover of panel light, Same to 4 hang buckles.

Step 2: Turn off power,remove the ceiling panel. Then place the panel in to the T-bar,ensure he panel is attached to the ceiling.

Step 3: Remove appropriate round knock-out(s) and connect conduit to J-box with proper connector(s).

Step 4: Put a connector to the end of AC input wire and tightly.the line connect to the connector with the black mark, the natural connect to another,the ground connect to the green wire.

Surface Mounted Installation for drywall

Step 1: Remove the surface mounted kit from the luminaire

Step 2: Turn off power. Insert the L,N wires of the J-box into the male connector.

Step 3: Align the holes on the surface mounted kit with the hole on the J-box Tighten 2#8-32 screws, rotate the plate to your right position and lots of KA3.5*20mm screws into the ceiling and make the kit flush with the ceiling.

Step 4: Alight the 2 longer hooks on the metal plate with the longer hole on the luminaire(Look at the metal palte and the luminaire with the ‘STEP 1’ mark). Slightly move the luminaire forward and make sure the hooks is in right position.

Step 5: Fix the metal string on the hook.

Step 6: Plug the female connector of the luminaire into the male connector of the AC input wire.The Ground connects to Green wire.Dimming wires connect according to the same wire color. Put the wire into the J-box.

Step 7: Push the luminaire on the ceiling. Make sure the 4 hooks are inside the luminaire and push forward the luminaire until you hear a clicking sound.

Surface Mount Led Panel Light for Drywall or Grid Ceiling

OKT Lighting designed FS series surface mount LED Light Panel, can be installed in drywall and suspended grid ceilings, it have a wide variety of size options, Stardant size like 2’x2′ (27W 40W), 2’x4′(40W 50W) and 1’x 4′ (40W),and 1’x2′ 25W, 1’x1′ 18W, and small size 4 inch 10W, 6 inch 12W, 8 inch 16W.

The surface mount led panel light is integrated with internal driver, There are two install accessories for selection. If you want install the led panel light in the suspended grid ceilings, the goods will be shipped with a junction box.

T-Grid LED is not only an illumination,but also an integral part of the T-Grid ceiling system assembly easily mounted into a new construction or retrofit during renovation. Why do you need to replace fluorescent troffers to LED troffers?

According to the US Department of Energy (DOE),two out of three lamps in commercial buildings were fluorescent and mostly fluorescent lamps were installed in troffer luminaires before 2012, but the rapidly advancing technology of LEDs posed a challenge for fluorescent lamps. The DOE estimates that LED troffers increased in sales. At Access Fixtures, sales of fluorescent troffer sales were once quite common. The troffer market is now dominated by LEDs.

Fluorescent troffer lights are a common source of office lighting, and with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) setting higher regulations and standards for lighting, fluorescent tubes are more energy efficient than ever. However, fluorescent troffers have a shorter lifespan and higher Lumen depreciation than LED Troffers. As Lumen output decreases, the tube lights must be replaced to not interfere with worker productivity. Fluorescent troffers may also suffer from ballast failure.
