An innovative lighting solution has re-unveiled an important cultural site in India.The lighting concept it developed highlights the extraordinary architecture of Jaipur, a historic centre, and restores its cultural heritage at night.
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is an ancient city in northern India with three million inhabitants.First built in 1727, the city street is designed according to the checkerboard square format. The tall, old pink buildings show the beauty of Indian architectural art and are called "the city of pink in India".
About 6,600 LED lights, including Linear light systems such as Traxon Nano Linear Allegro, and floodlights used for flat lighting, such as Traxon Washer Allegro, illuminate the city's castle and surrounding avenues to bring charm to the historic downtown.
Director Viswanathan Ashok said: "" we made something that didn't exist before.The new lighting has given the old city center a special glow.
With 425 monuments in the 5.7-kilometer-long urban area, 30 different types of lamps were installed, including 15 different beam angles and 8 different color temperatures, to display impressive exteriors under ideal conditions.Jaipur's new lighting concept shows that it is possible to combine culture and precious heritage with state-of-the-art technology and integrate old and new ways of life.
